**VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THIS**
Currently I am no longer on the SCD and eat a healthy diet of mostly organic fruits, vegetables, fish, soaked oatmeal (minimal), and some meats. Although I am not on a strict version of SCD I do stick to healthy foods which many are SCD legal. So for anyone reading this I ask you to please realize you MUST give your gut sufficient time to heal BEFORE you introduce SCD illegal foods such as sugar, starches, complex carbs etc. I still continue to stay away from all dairy as this is my preference and since all the other animals on the planet do not consume milk after they are infants I have chosen to do the same. From Monday to Friday I eat very healthy and on the weekends I do indulge a little bit having things such as: a few pancakes, toast, dairy free gelatti, pizza no cheese, diet soda (rarely), alcohol etc. I consume this stuff to treat myself I do not binge all weekend straight but I enjoy being able to eat almost anything I want If I choose to. In the beginning I only thought about what I was giving up but now I realized how much I got from giving my bad habits up as I feel better than ever. It also makes you appreciate those meals when you want to cheat etc because you savor the taste lol.
**WARNING** I’m telling everyone from my experience do not strive to be able to eat the “Normal” Standard American Diet again (SAD DIET). This was a huge issue for because I was dwelling on what I could not have and wanted to be able to eat it in the future. When I was finally able to consume these items again I binged and over did it which made me feel super crappy: tiredness, some gas, cramps, muscle & joint pain, lower sex drive, some candida issues etc. Although, this binging did not put me into a flare as I was able to control it when I felt like this I would not recommend anyone do this. Only in recent 2011 have I finally realized I want to be of optimum health and this requires a change of mind and a change of lifestyle. I research health 20-30 hrs. every week NO JOKE and using critical objective thought all conclusive information points to eventually going to a mostly RAW DIET. These people do not usually suffer from Cancer, other degenerative diseases, lifestyle diseases, and other ailments of old age etc. These people also look a lot younger than the majority of the population and who does not want to look younger? For me I love cooked foods because I’m use to them but I know they are not the answer and I will debate this anytime. I’m not saying to go RAW now but to realize it’s something you should eventually strive for. There is a point when we have to realize our current system is brutally failing; more sick people than ever, 1 in 3 people getting cancer in their lifetime, overweight, insecure, almost every person we know seems to have a lifestyle disease-diabetes, ADD, Asthma, heart disease, allergies, and even children being born with diseases….We will see the greatest flux of sick people the world has EVER seen so now ask yourself “Do I want to be part of this group we call: NORMAL?” I’ve thought about this so many countless hours and I say HECK NO! I hope you can take this advice to heart and learn from my mistakes instead of figuring this out the hard and painful way…..you may get away with it for a while BUT in the end it will kick ya in the a$$ that I promise you. I wrote this because I do care and want to help people which include avoiding mistakes I’ve made in the past.
There is no known Pharmaceutical or Surgical cure for Crohn's disease, Colitis etc.
When you really break down this comment and the way it is put together it makes you think. The comment stresses that there is no known pharmaceutical or surgical cure .................. and this comment is very true because the medical system has not brought us one. Who would have thought the medical system would fall short in bringing us a cure BUT they are always conveniently right there to provide us with a prescription for the newest drug....
Well I'm not a fan of pointless ranting as its counterproductive so let’s move on to the good stuff. This Statement does not say there is no cure it just says there is no cure in their matrix of thinking (Pharmaceutical or Surgical means). This is why if you search any search engine asking the RIGHT questions you will find 100s of people who have cured, overcame, or managed sustained remission for long periods of times (pick your terminology) and these people did it outside the realm of the medical mentality. When you speak with someone who has overcome the disease, for the 1st time you will start to believe that you can do it as well. I remember the 1st time I spoke to someone who overcame their severe IBD and has been healthy for almost 20+ years I no longer believed the garbage I was being told about being stuck with this disease forever (I was also so happy I wanted to cry like a little baby). From this moment I decided I was done being the victim and I would beat this thing.
Here I am today living a better life than I could have ever imagined. I know when a person is newly diagnosed and they are reading pamphlets, doing Google searches, visiting IBD forums, groups, watching videos, speaking with doctors there are a few consistent messages we all seem to get:

I don't know about everyone else but this sure made me warm and tingly NOT!!! Well that's all good because we are going to flip it around on them in years to come. When people find out they have an IBD and search it on various search engines they will see videos of people overcoming the diseases, living awesome lives, and paying it forward, and helping others take their lives back. Since I started the CBOY site it has been evident with 300-500 visitors a day that people are indeed losing faith in the systems lack of results and credibility. I've also
been lucky enough to speak with so many people who have successfully overcome their IBD's and are indeed paying it forward.
**THE MAIN THINGS THAT HELPED ME OVERCOME THIS DISEASE**
I have a no BS approach and mentality so I decided I would trim the fat and get right to the juicy stuff which is by far the most important things that have allowed me and others to become med free and feel Awesome**
-Please take note this is just a summary and YOU MUST read the entire document to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
CARBOHYDRATE REDUCTION- I remember before I was sick most of my meals were 75%+ carbohydrates such as: sugar, potatoes, rice, bread and many others. I minimized the sugar and the other complex carbs to moderate amounts and again noticed great improvements. This is especially important in the beginning of your healing journey or whatever you call it. Overall, you will feel better by reducing the complex carbs, sugar, bleached flour etc just wait and see asthma, allergies, joint pain, heart disease, more energy, of the things that improve and the list will go on and on….
-PROBIOTICS –consume probiotics about 50 billion CFU daily I initially took Natren products for the first 6 months. I also consumed SCD legal goat’s yogurt worked great for me but then I made the decision to eliminate dairy all together and I have not felt better. I noticed huge gains after doing Jini Patel’s PROBIOTIC ENEMA so do not be scared to give it a try. After my first year using Natren products due to their excessive cost I decided to try another capsule probiotic. This product is called Ultimate Flora by Renew Life and has worked awesome for me at a cost of about 30.00 a month (1 capsule a day). This product also contains 50 Billions CFU per capsule and has worked great for me over the last 18 months.
-COLLOIDAL SILVER (CS)- this stuff works awesome as I still take about (1/2 cup) every day-I haven’t had a cold or anything in almost 3 years. CS is a natural antibiotic and proved to me that part of this disease is some kind of virus which when killed relieved many symptoms. I did have some die off symptoms in the beginning but after a week felt awesome. It is important to look at buying the machine as you will know the quality of the CS because you make it. You will also save lots of money if you buy the machine which cost about $200.00 compared to a small container which cost $20.00. ENZYMES- I do not consume crazy amounts of enzymes but I usually try to take 1-2 capsules with each meal (especially with carbs). I have noticed I am able to digest my food so much better and would recommend anyone try these things but to make sure you take it slow starting at 1-2 capsules a meal etc. I buy my enzymes from Avena and I only buy the full spectrum ones and take 2 a day but some people do take more per meal. I usually buy the 500 capsules because I’m frugal and I want to save some cash by buying a little more lol Although I use Avena products you can pick up many full spectrum enzymes at your local health store which may priced well and be great products the choice is ultimately your. The only reason I say this is because sometimes it is more affordable with other brands. I would personally try the Avena enzymes first and then try others to see if they work as well.
VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS These vitamins gave my body what it needed to heal and recover from my disease. If your car runs out of oil it can drive but not very well give it what it needs and the performance will come back. Let’s be straight up here! 100 years ago you may have been able to get all the Nutrients you need from just diet alone but due to Nutritional deficiencies in the soil we are lacking all the time which is why additional supplements are required. I have spoke with other people in the health industry and they indicated even if I ate all organic the food would still be deficient as the fruit or vegetable can only get nutrients from the soil and if the soil lacks the fruit or vegetables are lacking… really think about it.
Vitamin supplements have made a huge difference in my life and I will never stop taking them. But with time you may add or decrease vitamin supplements to what you need as there is no perfect solution so sometimes we do try new things, improvise and so forth.
This vitamin strategy is not just as easy as taking one of those 1 a day orange multi vitamin pills (you know which ones I’m speaking of) I remember hearing a story from a friend about a guy that use to clean portable washrooms (porta potties) and he said when he cleaned out the tanks that he would see so many of these multi vitamins that never even got absorbed just went right through and he even said you could still read the writing on the vitamin now that’s hilarious lol is it true who knows……….. Here are the vitamins I take. (I’m only telling you what has worked for me)
My Daily Vitamin & Supplement Regimen: (this is what works for me)
Multi Vitamin- 2-3 capsules a day (Multi Factors Men’s by Natural Factors)
Vitamin C 1 cap a day (bio c gel-high abs ascorbate c 500 mg-90 soft gels)
Vitamin D3 6-10 tablets a day (1000 IU tablets by Natural Factors-180 tablets)
Vitamin E- 1 capsule a day 400 IU
Beta Carotene-1 tablet per day (Natural Factors 10,000 IU-90 tablets)
Zinc Citrate- 1 per day (Natural Factors 50mg tablets-size 90 tablets)
Selenium – 300-400 mcg daily per day (mineral for your immune system-Natural Factors 90 tabs 100mcg each
ChromiumGTF-chelate 400 mcg day
Fish Oil-Carlson’s 1 teaspoon a day
L-Glutamine 4-5 grams a day (1 teaspoon) (**helps to curb sugar & carbohydrate cravings**, also helps grow new muscle and heal intestinal mucosal cells etc) Best on an empty stomach is possible.
Himalayan or SEA Salt ½ teaspoon–for trace minerals –I take it straight with water yes yuck lol but you will see after 2 weeks that it does make a difference.
**I usually take all the vitamins after breakfast as I am rather lazy and do not like having to pop pills all day so I get it all out of the way first thing.
I consume vitamin D3 (I take 6000-10,000) IU daily-but see the blog post and the book I recommend to find more about how much you should supplement etc) From the research I have done I believe in my heart that consuming under 10,000 IU daily is safe and do not worry about this. I take a good MULTI-Vitamin which I buy from my local health food store. I would recommend something that comes in capsules rather than a tablet as they digest a lot better in the stomach. I use natural factors brand for men but they have for women and for 55+ etc. You should try a variety of vitamins and see what works best for you.
I consume Himalayan Salt which is an inexpensive way to get as many as 82 out of the important 84 trace minerals. I usually consume ½ teaspoon of this salt daily and I feel great doing so. (but, I will point out that I do not over do salt when I cook or when I eat out etc) I also have a good friend in Hawaii who just simply drinks a few sips of ocean water each day as is it said to have high concentration of trace minerals. I have been drinking the ocean water for some time and it has worked great for me. Every time I go on a trip I fill a few bottles of ocean water and this usually last me a few months. I live in the Midwest so we do not have any oceans close to us.
**CHANGE YOUR MINDSET**
DON’T SCREW UP YOUR SECOND CHANCE-I know most people will be like I was when they overcome this disease……….thinking I can’t wait to return to a “normal” diet again I was one of those people but I will tell you now WAKE UP and think twice!!!!! I made the mistake of binging the first few weeks as I was able to eat almost any food of my choice and I started to feel crappy again so I changed my approach. Like an athlete who previously had an injury to his knee will have to watch out in the future as there is more potential to hurt it again if care is not taken. Our weakness is in our gut so we cannot expect to abuse it for weeks at a time and have no side effects.
I have found my current approach to be the perfect balance which allows me to enjoy some of the food I have loved for years but still eating healthy overall. During the week Monday-Friday I try to consume mostly organic fruits, vegetables, eggs and small quantities of meat, fish and 1 pc a whole wheat bread etc I do have the odd cheat during the week but try to eat as healthy as possible. When the weekend comes I enjoy it and have cheats in moderation such as hamburger, toast, cookies, dairy free gelatti, wine etc almost everything besides milk products, yes alcohol but not excessive amounts. I can tell you once you get sick and almost all foods upset you when you are finally able to eat some of those foods again they will taste awesome. Life is too short to keep yourself from the good tasting things all the time……….at least this is my opinion. The truth is we are all looking for the same result (overcome our IBD’s or any disease and get our lives back) so lets think outside the box and try something different rather than operations and drugs that hurt us more than help us.
**OTHER THINGS THAT HELPED ME ALONG THE WAY**
CHEW YOUR FOOD until it is almost mush-30-60 times, I never use to chew my food properly but now I do, and I noticed way less cramps. When you chew your food properly you’re saving work for your stomach. We have teeth to chew our food so we might as well use them for their given purpose. Also chewing your food wells aids digestion as more digestive enzymes are secreted. You don’t have to be a fanatic. To put it simply just do as much work with your teeth so it makes it easier for your gut.
DRINK WATER and AT THE RIGHT TIMES (Rule of Thumb ½ ounce per pound of body weight)
So for someone weighing 160lbs would drink 80 ounces daily = 2.4 Liters per day
Minimize your Fluoride exposure:
Well I think the most important thing is to first STAY FAR AWAY from tap water which contains fluoride and chlorine.
**I do not drink during a meal as when you chew you secrete enzymes which help your stomach digest the food if you drink too much while eating you water these enzymes down, if you have to drink while eating limit it to 1/2 a cup (but I would try hard to not do it at first and see if there are benefits) I am human like anyone else and I don’t always follow the rules as I do like to drink red wine with my meals but hold off on this but eventually you will know your body and how it reacts etc.
-Also try not to drink anything 30-45min after eating
**Drinking water in this pattern works to keep the digestive track moist and will help with keeping you regular** Constipation is one of the worst things for ANY person as when your waste sits in your body for long periods of time it begins to reabsorb the toxins which you are trying to expel. Walking also helps you become more regular (**see Walking**)
DON’T GOTO SLEEP ON A FULL STOMACH
**Do not eat 3+ hours before bed time; if you have to eat then have a well tolerated fruit no later than 1 hour before bedtime as fruits are easily digested usually within 30-45 minutes. You want your stomach to be empty so it is not doing work to ensure more energy will be conserved for healing instead of digesting your food. I know we live in a society which has become (rush rush) and this will be hard at first, but you will see the benefit in time. Once you are healed from your IBD you will notice if you eat late the odd time it will not bother you.
Specific Carbohydrate Diet
I Decided to Go on SCD DIET (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) and it helped me a great deal in overcoming my IBD. Through research and many people I have spoke with I believe this diet to be the first phase to overcoming an IBD. I am very grateful to Elaine for writing this book as it
gave me a second chance and kept me out of the hospital. Many people are managing their diseases without drugs and the number of people doing so is nothing short of amazing. I think any person with an IBD should read the book Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gottschall. I will admit I do believe this diet alone will not cure you. There have a few people that have overcome the disease using SCD DIET and returned to normal diets but these results are not typical. There are many more components to IBD’s than just diet alone and this is stuff that I am mentioning in this document which SCD and the book BTVC do not address. I now eat whatever I want but during the week I do eat a similar diet to SCD consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, eggs (organic, grass fed) some fish (fresh not farmed), chicken+ beef (grass fed organic etc.) and on the weekends I tend indulge a little bit. “Changing my lifestyle has only positively affected my life in almost every way”
Here are some of my Quick SCD Optimization Tips
-Do the intro diet as it will help remove the bad bacteria in your gut. I never did the intro diet initially as I did not think I needed to. A few months after starting the diet, I read some information stipulating the importance of doing it. I decided I would give the intro diet a try. I only did it for 5 days and I noticed a dramatic difference. I realized that I most likely stalled my own healing progress by not doing this from the beginning.
- Simplify your diet/Create a SAFE diet (VERY IMPORTANT) stick to only a few foods in the beginning such as chicken, green beans, banana, SCD yogurt etc. You want to create a simple safe diet where you notice that you feel good and have minimal symptoms of the disease. This is also very important because your objective is to heal and you want to give your body sufficient time to heal. What typically happens when people start SCD is that they try and replace their regular junk food with SCD junk food and they lack results. Do not try and rush adding in new foods to your diet as this will come in time and your progress will benefit from doing so. I know this seems hard but you will get a lot further and quicker taking this approach.
This is the main reason that people do not get the results they want with SCD. I’m telling you this so you will not have to waste all the time I did trying to figure it out the hard way.
-Minimize nut products (this is crucial when symptoms are active especially gas and D are present) Like I mentioned above we tend to want to switch our pre SCD food such as cake, bread to SCD legal food such as nut flour baked goods. Like most people I have spoken with over the last few years they also over consumed nut products and experienced increase gas and cramping etc.
-Do not over consume honey, fruits and nut products as these can give you increased symptoms . I think nut flour and peanut butter can be the worst if you are overdoing them. If you have symptoms try removing these for a week and see how you feel.
-Stay away from eggs if gas and D are still very active symptoms. You will be amazed how a few small things can change your progress. Also remove them from your diet periodically to see if you notice any improvement.
-Eliminate milk and dairy products YES cheese-just to see if your symptoms improve and try goat’s yogurt instead. I will be forward that I am indeed **ANTI DAIRY** but do believe SCD legal yogurt is very beneficial in repopulating the guts bacteria. Besides the SCD legal yogurt I would prompt you to stay away from dairy. I will ask you simply to think about this: What other mammal consumes milk after infancy and on top of that milk from another species? Our current thoughts on dairy are the results of great marketing propaganda campaigns which seem to be doing a great job “milk does a body good” ………………
-Try the Goats Yogurt SCD LEGAL as it is tolerable by more people and is easier digested than cows milk. Goat’s milk is the most similar to human milk and contains less casein than cow’s milk. I know this yogurt can be quite runny but stop complaining and do it because once you feel great this will be the least of your concerns. I’m joking lol to decrease the runniness of the goats yogurt drip it which will get rid of the excess water etc.
My Diet in the Beginning (3-6 months)
AM: 1/2 cup of goat yogurt- SCD legal, 1 Banana pancake (1 egg & 1 Banana with spots mashed together) cooked in a frying pan with olive oil, then once cooked topped with a little bit of honey, olive oil (or butter if well tolerated), and topped with cinnamon. **But if I was experiencing active D would avoid the egg and just have a banana**
LUNCH: baked chicken, green beans, and 1 almond muffin-I tried without the muffin at first then added 1 and was fine. But if I consumed 2 muffins I noticed lots of smelly gas and some D.
DINNER: baked chicken, green beans, and ½ cup of goats yogurt
PLEASE REMEMBER-this menu is not forever just until you get a handle on things, and so that you can give your body some consistent healing time. If you spend your time adding and removing foods because of increased symptoms you are not giving your body an extended time to heal and is ultimately counterproductive. Please trust me and do this for a few months. Yes this may be hard at times and when you feel you’re going through a tempting moment focus on where you want to be “healed living a KICK ASS life….you will get there”
TAKE A GOOD PROBIOTIC or SCD LEGAL YOGURT
I believe this to be one of most important aspects of your healing process as it helps re-populate your gut with good bacteria. I noticed my symptoms drastically disappear when I started consuming goat’s yogurt (SCD LEGAL only)

If you are going to consume yogurt I only recommend SCD legal, even for people who are not on SCD this yogurt offers way more pro-biotic benefit than any other yogurt on the market. Another great thing about the yogurt is it has awesome benefits and is so cheap to make so it’s worth a try. for the Probiotic enema once a year. I would advise anyone to start with the Natren products initially and especially for use in Jini’s Probiotic enema which helped me out a lot and then transition to a more affordable product. After using Natren pb’s I decided to try another Billion CFU per capsule” (cost 30.00 month) and they have worked awesome for the last 18-20 months.**
In regards to PB’s they can be awesome! The hard task is finding good ones as many of the products available are garbage. Companies have just seen the need and started putting out products to get a piece of the market.
-Most PB’s don’t list the actual strains of bacteria on their bottles.
-They do not guarantee amount of bacteria only at time of packaging
- Usually only contain a small bit of the desired bacteria and the rest are fillers (check for yourself)
-there is no governing rule or a standard division of the government which actually controls and regulates the PB industry so it is so hard to actually determine the quality of these PB’s on the market.
Taking previous information into consideration I urge you to try what I am recommending, but if you are unable to locate them please do your research before purchasing another product. I am a believer in health modeling so I would urge you to seek out the products I mention first.
After reading Jini’s Book I decided to take PB’s even though they were considered illegal on the SCD DIET (due to the Bifido bacteria). I started with ¼ teaspoon of each strain on an empty stomach, mixed with a glass of filtered water (non tap) water twice a day. Once in the afternoon before lunch, and then once right before bed as a lot of time for the little buggers to flourish. I also continued to consume yogurt in the morning and for dinner as when I stopped I noticed I got bloated as it aided my digestion process.
FOR PEOPLE ON SCD….scared of trying PB’s outside of SCD rules?? Please read part of my past blog post describing this.
Bifdus: You go into some pretty crazy scientific context which many of us do not understand and does not make it more correct, but many points are relevant. On the other hand you do not speak of how Bifidus is the dominant bacteria in the large intestine in healthy people..? Perhaps
most of the genus or species that are used in these yogurt starters are dangerous for people who are on SCD. I read about people that went into possible flares after they tried Bifidus and as soon as they stopped it went away. Who is to say that when they introduced these new bacteria their body encountered a detox called the Herxeimer effect: is a rapid drastic die off which can feel very much like a flare. I have experienced this myself personally after doing a probiotic enema. I was very scared to try PB’s that contained Bifidus as I read what everyone was writing so I started doing research and seen that this bacteria is very important in our gut. Everything I understood about Bifidus was most likely incorrect as I was only basing it upon SCD literature not my own diligent research. To go a step further of all the people I have spoken with who are med free and are able to eat what they want they have all consumed probiotics that include Bifudus/Bifido etc. This may be another reason why as soon as people on SCD have illegal ingredients they experience symptoms of their specific IBD. It is very evident that there are some components missing from SCD which allow a person to return to other foods beyond the SCD legal list. Science in its pure entity should be progressive and improve as variables change such as: new evidence brought forward, technology advancements are made, and many others. Elaine was always researching information so she could change SCD information when new evidence was brought forward. When Elaine Gottschall passed away, the progressive nature of SCD, which she made her life disappeared.
I am not anti-SCD I just want to communicate how important it is to remain a free-minded critical thinker and to not treat SCD information as biblical text because it is NOT! By the same context the information provided in this e-book is based on my health modeling principles and my experience so do what you believe to be right.
BIFIDO FACTOR, MEGADOPHILUS, & DIGESTA-LAC –I use the non dairy powders as well 3.5oz size. That is my preference not saying one is better than another.
I chose to take only 2 dairy free powders which were Bifido Factor and Megadophilus which I took once a day ½ a teaspoon a day in the later morning, and I consume 1 Healthy Trinity Capsule at night. In regards to these probiotics I would advise that you contact your local health store as you can ask them to bring Natren products in as they will be a lot cheaper than ordering them online as the transport fees can be excessive. I would advise taking these powders for the first 6 months along with Healthy Trinity Capsules but after that I would transition to “ULTIMATE FLORA” by Renew Life. But if you can’t
afford the powders you can try using the Ultimate Flora instead, do what works best for your situation.
**WEED, FEED & RE-SEED**
I believe this concept is the fundamental key to overcoming IBD’s.
WEED- use something that kills the bad bugs (Colloidal Silver), pathogens, infectious part of

RE-SEED-Continue to take a maintenance dose of probiotics, yogurt (SCD legal), fermented foods such as cabbage etc simply put keep giving your gut good bacteria.
*I believe in my heart if more people tried this P.R.E (Probiotic Retention Enema) enema protocol it would help most people come out of their flares and get them on the track to healing themselves. Jini Patel is really showing people how important getting the appropriate bacteria into our gut is and how important it is to kill the bad stuff that is unwanted in our guts. Everyone has their opinion but this lady and her main assistant both had CD and now live normal lives eating great diets that are not that restricted. This is enough to tell me that they are doing something right. I would recommend that anyone with an IBD should read the book “Listen to Your Gut” by Jini Patel as she talks about so many aspects of IBD’s that you will be amazed. I will be upfront I do not agree on all of her protocols or methods but I believe she does state many things that will help people with IBD’s. For many people who do not want to do a diet like the SCD diet there is clinical data which shows reduction of symptoms was present when people reduced their carb intake.
Dr Wolfgang Lutz documented a controlled study in which 67crohn's patients followed a low carb diet. After 1.5 years 80% were symptom free, 70% were symptom free after 6 months. The concept is very similar do not leave undigested food which can feed the bad bacteria similar concept to SCD but not as restricted. It's definitely worth a read as it will help you understand more about your condition. TAKE FISH PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE FISH OIL
Fish oil is a natural anti-inflammatory. Doctors treat Crohn’s with anti-inflammatory drugs. Note: Use pharmaceutical grade only – anything else is virtually worthless. I take 1 spoon daily and it has made a huge difference. When shopping for this try and buy a product which does not come from farmed fish but rather from fresh fish. I use Carlson Fish oil with lemon or orange taste and it doesn’t taste like bad smelly fish.

It is known and documented that Inflammatory Bowel diseases are linked to stress in various ways. A Fun Fact: the majority (70-90%) of our neuroreceptor’s from our brain are located in our gut. This shows you the direct relation to the importance of the gut and its many functions. Any person without an IBD still admits to getting an upset stomach when they are nervous butterflies etc. To keep this simple you will notice that your symptoms will be worse during periods of high stress etc. With this said it is important to relive stress by participating in physical exercise, meditation, handling unresolved issues, walking, sex, or anything non destructive lol that helps you relieve this unwanted stress. In my opinion most of this stress is over the way we see things in our life or things that have occurred in our past so it is important to address these issues instead of keeping things locked up. I grew up in a broken family and we were very poor and for years I blamed my parents for the way things turned out but when I finally let go of this resentment and looked at how I wanted my future to be. **as Candida is an issue keeping honey and bananas, fruit anything with sugar to a minimum will also get you awesome results do it for 1 month and see how ya feel I. I know it will be worth the sacrifice. I know this is hard as I am also in love with honey and bananas so believe me I know how hard it is. We do not have to do this forever just for a good amount of time to starve the pathogens, or bad bacteria etc in your system. Along with SCD it's good to try taking something like Colloidal Silver or Oil of Oregano which will add to the punch. Why not starve them and beat them at the same time? Also if you have skin rashes like I did these are usually directly linked to Candida or yeast etc they are SIGNALs so don’t just get cream to make them go away solve the roote of the problem.

Bm's were formed regularly,my energy came back, was not tired every day like I was before, my joint pain almost completely went away, my brain felt more clear and less fuzzy, got a great sleep almost every night, rashes on my body started to disappear (exzhema etc), bloating rare, gas no longer smelly and if I was strict with carb content almost non existent Overall I feel awesome and almost every day is a 9/10 so that’s a KICK ASS day for me!
If I can give anyone any advice do not waste all the months I did. Keep it simple at first then add on to your diet. Try the stuff I did in my 7th month in your 1st month. Make sure to download the optimization documents. When I first started my healing process I was always trying to ask people when do you think I'll be better? There is no answer for this, stop looking for someone to answer that question. When you provide your body with the right conditions it will heal!
6 MONTHS ON SCD
had 6 month flare not really any pain just constant D 10 times a day for week straight-possible die off-also used Boswellia during this time Symptoms didn't really change since first 3 months so still felt 7/10 daily
I decided to create this chart because it seems like everyone wants to see a map of how things may go so thought I would do something that may help some people out. Also always keep in mind we did not get our given disease's in a a few months and they will not usally go away in that time frame. You may notice most of your symptoms disappear in 6 months or less but the remaining symptoms may take a year or two. I have learned healing usually happens in layers which work in alignment with the conditions provided to heal. I can't stress enough that SCD alone will not heal you!!! you will have to make some lifestyle changes such as exercising, yoga, reading books-self help, novels anything, speaking about your feeling regularly, spending time with family, doing the things you always wanted to do, really simple way to put it make yourself happy physically and mentally. Once your at that point you will be grateful for this disease as it changed your life for the better and when you realize that drop me an email and say you were right DUDE! I am still going through my healing phase with every few months I notice things improve as I educate myself more and try other things etc so make sure to keep your mind open to other things which will make your life and overall health better. I'm a nice dude dont be shy
**Currently I am no longer on SCD and eat a healthy diet of mostly organic fruits, vegetables, fish, soaked oatmeal, and some meats. I still continue to stay away from all dairy as this is my preference and since all the other animals on the planet do not consume milk after they are infants I have chose do the same. From Monday to Friday I eat very healthy and on the weekends I do indulge a little bit having things such as: pancakes, toast, dairy free gelatti, pizza no cheese, diet soda (rarely), alcohol etc. I consume this stuff to treat myself I do not binge all weekend straight but I enjoy being able to eat almost anything I want If I choose to. In the beginning I only thought about what I was giving up but now I realized how much I got from giving my bad habits up as I feel better than ever. It also makes you appreciate those meals when you want to cheat etc because you savor the taste lol.
